Noëlla Bellefeuille


Je vis et travaille à Sutton

J’explore divers procédés en peinture, en modelage et en techniques mixtes. 
Je cherche à infuser un certain dynamisme à la figuration humaine, sujet que je privilégie actuellement.

J’ai accepté de transformer une chaise pour la collecte de fonds de la SAGP car cette « salle » contribue largement à promouvoir les événements culturels de Sutton et ses environs.

Attendons

Que la rose pousse
Dans toutes les maisons

Que l’oiseau vole
Dans toutes les maisons

Noella Bellefeuille lives and works in Sutton.
She studied at the Saydie Bronfman Centre and at L'Universite du Quebec at Montreal in 'arts plastiques'.
her courses led to a major in painting,sculpture and print-making. As a member of l'Estampille she took part in the artist's book
Un Lieu Historique Disparu (1991).In 2003 Bellefeuille received her BA in fine arts from Bishop's University,Sherbrooke.
Her work was included in several group and themed shows at Arts Sutton, Galerie Boreart, Musee St-Hilaire and Galerie Rouge,contemporary art and in other public galleries in our region.
Three of Bellefeuille's paintings appear on the covers of books by Marcel Debel; two are reproduced on posters and another in the Cowansville calendar, March 1999. In 1998 she received an Honorable Mention at Couleurs Urbaines, at the Symposium, Boreart and second prize at TheExpo Canard, Bishop's University, Knowlton.
In the majority of her paintings and sculptures her focus is on the human form.
Bellefeuille is a member of the Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels and of Arts Sutton.
