Karen Tait

After a very rewarding career in Montreal as a photolithographer, the arrival of the home computer changed everything. I moved to West Brome and took a graphic art / computer design course in Cowansville. Using a machine made me realise how much I missed working with my hands and tools: scissors, x-actos, paintbrushes, colors... I fell upon framing when I worked in a boutique in Sutton where I was happiest window dressing and learning how to do custom framing. Once again, I was enjoying a career which required of me handling the materials I so missed.
Turning a chair into a '' Chair Project '' has been very amusing. I love animal prints, black, metallic finishes and textures. I am delighted to be part of this wonderful fundraiser for the Salle Alex et Gérard Pelletier.
